AstroReality is actually made up of a lot of game developers and content creators. We have a deep love and passion for great games that challenge us in new ways and find the most effective ways for entertaining people. For this week, we will be talking about the space exploration games that discuss evolution and planets in the galaxy.
Space exploration games that discuss evolution and planets in the galaxy
It is one of the most creative games that was ever made. However, it did not stand the test of time but was one of the best sellers when it originally came out. It also highlighted the technology of procedurally rendering visualizations, which gave users the ability to modify and create freely and test and see how organic life functions.
Spore starts you from a single-celled organism
It was not the most fun, it was not even the best game, but Spore is the only game that I can think of that has ever been able to tackle the most challenging subject, and portray it in a practical way that you cannot stop yourself from playing.
What was the main focus of this space exploration game? Evolution. This game starts you out from a single-celled organism and ends with you becoming so powerful that you can blow up entire planets with your spaceship and colonizing the universe. And before you ask, yes, the planet destroyer is quite a satisfying moment that becomes quite addicting.
The primary feature being the procedurally generated animations for your creature that you created as your character was able to evolve. It is an incredible display of technology that makes every other game pale in comparison when it comes to character customization.
So what makes this space exploration game so good? You start with a blob of organic material and then add a vertebra. Just like playing with playdoh – you can squish pull stretch and distort this organism in any way shape or form you want. Give it legs, wings, three eyes, seven mouths, or keep it a blob, and watch as it comes to life and moves before you like a real animal. It is amazing and will eat your entire day if you are not careful.
How evolution happens around the world
This space exploration game, Spore, was designed by Will Wright, the famed game designer for sim city – the Sims – and many other iconic simulation games. But what always disappointed me with Spore was that it was always way too cute and cartoon-like. They chose this, because it will sell better, and have a much larger audience acceptance. But evolution is not cute, life is not cute, and natures creativity should truly be endless.
I think this game should relaunch, but this time as an open source platform where designers, developers and scientists and engineers can work together to create the most realistic model of life ever created and evolving. Have a community work together to manage and build the game and watch how incredible insights and unforgettable moments would come in a never-ending supply. Sure kids wouldn’t be allowed to play it, but humanity, as a result, would learn how amazing and beautifully dynamic life is.
Space exploration games are great at inspiring the future of space travel. As well as educating us in a new way AstroReality is interested in creating this future education platform as something that empowers users through many different space games. It is an excellent way for you to touch and learn about the world in a new way.
